Temptrol Faucet Repair - Bathtub

The temptrol faucet in the tub will not let the water get nice and cold. What should I check? Water pressure is fine and another temptrol used in a shower only set-up can get pretty cold water. Advice on rebuilding or fixing appreciated.
How do ID the model in use? I read some about t-10 kits etc for fixing this. Have to fix the shower-only one too, it drips. Both faucets are from about 1984.
Thanks Much.

TA-10 is the temptrol cartridge. There are also seal sets available, and given the age, you probably need a set of seats, which require a special tool for removal.

You can find parts diagrams on symmons website.
