Replacing Shower Faucet

My shower faucet leaks, I have tried do it yourself manuals but after I take off the sleeve I am lost. How do I take the valve out.

ther are many,many different
brands of shower valves available
on the market today.
can you find a name on the valve?
It sounds like a moen your dealing
with,but no promises.
if so, once you remove the chrome
sleeve you can see a wishbone shaped
piece of brass.A small clip,that holds the
cartridge in place.If that is present it is
a moen,and is pretty easy to deal with.
If this sounds right let me know and I'll
tell you the rest of the procedure.
