In my bathroom there is no hot water - but there is in the other bathroom on the same floor. We have had the hot water heater checked and it is OK. Any suggestions?

is the water just not coming out
of the faucet?or does it run cold on
the hot side?

"sand' in toilet bowl

I have what appears to be grains of sand in my toilet bowl even though I clean it every day. This problem started one year ago. I have cleaned out the tank and periodically drain the water in the bowel and scrub that out. The "sand" has etched marks in the bowl and it now looks dirty even after I have just cleaned it. Aside from the appearance, I am concerned that my pipes might be falling apart (the house is 66 years old) and causing this problem. Any suggestions?

Replace Zone Valve (Taco 571-2)

I need to replace a zone valve. How do I get the old zone valve off and if I am draining the pipes of water, how do I get the water back in? Any other things I should be thinking about? Thank you
