plumbing repair

I live in a 2 year old home and water is coming from under the toilet. The toilet in question sets on a tile floor and rocks a little. What do I do? detach the toilet and replace the wax ring and reinstall?????

 

be sure the edge of the flange is not
broken,this will make the toilet wobble
even after you replace the wax ring.
when you remove the toilet be sure the
flange sits on top of the finished floor,
if not its wrong and will leak again in the
future.sometimes the top of the flange will
be flush with the finished floor,this
indicates the plumber getting ahead of
the tile man,or either does not know what
he is doing.tell me what you find underneath.
there are to many variables to go over them
all.once you pull the toilet write me back
and we'll fix it.

If the flange isn't broken, and the bolts are snug, then --as our moderator said, there may have been alittle mixup between the plumber and tile setter. You CAN double the wax rings (simplest solution) if that is the case. Been there, done that after we tiled our bathrooms in 1998.
