I want to install new shower faucets as well as fix the dripping that occurs. Can someone tell me how to remove these stubborn faucets. The screws that hold the handles on will not come out, tried wd-40 to loosen, tried drilling them out with a "tap". Tap broke off while trying to drill out the brass screw.Nothing works. HELP!!

Gene: Sounds like you're going to be replacing the handles and both the hot and cold water valves here. In the future, prior to trying a drill-out, put a screwdriver on the head of the screw and tap with a hammer. Sometimes that will break the corrosion and allow you to unscrew them. In any case, looks like you may have to take a small chisel and get the broken off tap/screws turning out counter clockwise by tapping around the outer edge of the screw heads to back them out. Once you've gotten the handles off and valves out, take to hardware/discount store for matching replacements. Without seeing what you have left to work with, it's kind of hard to say, tho. Good luck.
