My 4 year old daughter deposited a small hotel shampoo bottle in the toilet and flushed it. Now when the toilet flushes the water will fill to the top of the bowl, then slowly will drain out. My daughter also deposited for me the results of her lunch in the toilet and with the aid of a plunger it did go down the toilet. We have a septic system. The other bathroom toilet works perfectly so I am assuming the shampoo bottle is stuck in our commode somplace.
Do I need to call a plumber or if the bottle gets out to the line that runs to the septic will it just go into the tank or will it clog the whole system. Thanks for any help.

the bottle will probobly never make it to your septic tank, and if it did it will not
hurt it.
they make a closet auger with a hook type retreaving swivel end that works great in
experienced hands at removing small objects.
you can try this method or pull the toilet
and try to push it back out from the bottom.
good luck
