Low-Flow Toilet

We bought a brand-new house this past summer and it has those low-flow toilets in it. We have plungers in every bathroom now and they get a real work out almost daily. This is ridiculous!

Can we just cut out that plastic cylinder in the tank to make it work like a "real" toilet, or what can we do?

YOU CAN CUT THE BUCKET DOWN,AND IF THE FLAPPER HAS A FOAM FLOAT ON THE CHAIN
REPLACE THE FLAPPER WITH A KORKY FLAPPER,
BE SURE TO TEAR THE LITTLE RUBBER LOOP OFF
THE FLAPPER BEFORE YOU INSTALL IT!

Please help me. We are replacing the utility sink in our laundry. The previous arrangement is quite disorganzed and in order to replace the sink we must redo the drain pipes. Our problem is that the drain pipes are in excess of 30 years old, the old galvanized pipes. Is there some kind of "goop" we can put on the threads to loosen the joints so we can remove the old pipes. We have tried WD 40 with no success. Please help I don't want to pay the plumber to do something I know I can do. Thank you.
