toilet seat replacement

Old seat is cracked, and needs to be replaced. The bolt assembly is rusted tight. What if I crack the toilet? Any help on how to proceed?

Try to hacksaw the bolts off, sawing through seat brackets, if necessary.

WATER PUMP SHUTS OFF AND ON FAST

We have our own well, and lately the pump will run for 3 seconds and than shut off for 10 seconds . It will repeat like this the whole time water is being used. Age of pump, well and pressure tank is 6 1/2 years. The pump is a RED JACKET 1/2 hsp,pressure tank is a 20 gal. Over all water pressure seems to have also dropped. THANK YOU GARY

upstairs bathroom fauset and shower

Does anyone know why my upstairs fausets have lost their water pressure? House is about 30 years old and one day the pressure was all but gone in the upstairs bathroom. Toilet is no problem - just the sink hot and cold water and the shower and bath tub hot and cold water. Any suggestions?? Thanks
