I have a Kinetico water softener. It seems to dump the softened water down the drain before the water is used. What could the problem be? Thanks in advance for the help.

What is being discharged should be brine after cleaning the media. They all seem to do that.

upstairs bathroom fauset and shower

Does anyone know why my upstairs fausets have lost their water pressure? House is about 30 years old and one day the pressure was all but gone in the upstairs bathroom. Toilet is no problem - just the sink hot and cold water and the shower and bath tub hot and cold water. Any suggestions?? Thanks

Leaking connection at spray nozzle hose and kitchen sink

The fittings where the hose screws into the sink is leaking. I have tightened the connection and even put caulk around the joint, but it is still leaking. This is the second new hose I have installed thinking it was the hose, but it seems to be something else. The leak occurs when the water to the sink is turned on. When the water is turned off, the leak stops. Is it the connection or diverter valve. Please help!
