After flushing the toilet, the refill of the bowl is extremely slow. What is causing this problem and how can it be corrected?

If the toilet is the only fixture with low refill flow, you may have some type of blockage in the cutoff valve or the water inlet assembly in the tank (I've had low flow problems with both caused by debris, i.e. pieces of rubber washer, etc.). Cut off all water. Remove stem cap of cutoff valve, check for/clean out any debris, if any. Replace stem cap.If that was o.k., turn water back on, and if you have the float-cup type fill assembly, slowly and partially turn the base just loose and open enough for the water pressure to wash out any loose debris trapped in it. (Don't take it all the way off or you'll have a fountain shooting straight up in your bathroom). There are other possibilities, but I would check these out first. Good Luck!
