when making the rough cut in the floor for a new toilet, do measure from the studs, or do I have add what the wall will be after finished?? I'm installing a new toilet, that is 12" on center. Thanks for any help

Add for the drywall. So a 12" rough in with 1/2" drywall will call for a 12-1/2" rough in to the center of the Flange.
