Have you tried Liquid Plumber, Drano, or some other drain cleaner that is designed to dissolve clogs? Read the directions, and use accordingly until you get it cleared out.Good Luck!

Serenity,
Try the Drain cleaner method first as the OldGuy mentioned. Buy a good brand! If you have no luck that way, call your local roto rooter and tell them you have a (probably 1 1/2") cast iron drain that needs to be "scraped out!" He will use a special scraper tip that will actually scrape the inside of the pipe clean. Then run lots of hot water down the drain for a while to make sure you have washed all the debris out. Caution: there is a small possibility the "snake" can put a hole thru the pipe if its old. 2nd Caution: have a heart and make sure you tell the rotorooter guy that you used Draino or? in the drains. This way he will know to wear some good leather gloves to keep from getting his skin burned from the drain cleaning stuff!
