TOILET TROUBLE
#1
HAVE A TOILET UPSTAIRS AND ONE IN THE BASEMENT. THE ONE UPSTAIRS FLUSHES FINE THE ONE IN THE BASEMENT WELL SOMETIMES WHEN YOU FLUSH IT IT'S FINE OTHER TIMES THE WATER IN THE TANK GOES DOWN BUT THE WATER IN THR BOWL WONT. THEN THERES THE BATHTUB UPSTAIRS WHEN I TRY TO DRAIN IT IT DRAINS ABOUT HALFWAY THEN I HAVE TO JIGGLE THE HANDLE BEFORE IT DRAINS THE REST OF THE WAY. I DONT KNOW IF THE TWO ARE RELATED.

I don't think that these two problems are related, unless they share a common vent, which may need snaking. Check the vent for obstruction. Does your basement toilet gravity-flow to the street sewer line, or do you have a pump? If it gravity-flows, you may need to just clean out the line to the street, or it may be in the toilet itself. Try a plumber's auger on the toilet to see if something small has become lodged in it.The tub drain problem sounds like you need to pull and adjust trip-lever or pop-up valve assembly. Unscrew the two small bolts holding the overflow plate (with toggle) to tub, and pull out assembly, and repair/adjust. Good Luck!
