Question

In replacing the showerhead with a handheld, I noticed that the shower arm was leaking where it goes into the pipe in the wall.

Will replacing the washer fix this or am I in real trouble here?

Also, if the shower arm is tight, it is not in the proper position. Can anyone tell me how to remedy this also?

Thanks,
Lucy

Cool

Just remove shower arm (threaded on both ends). Wrap both ends 2-3 turns clockwise with teflon tape, and reinstall. Should stop leaking. Good Luck!
