Question

My main cold water header tank valve "stuck" in the closed position, so the tank became drained.

I noticed this when cold water taps, toilets etc. stopped working upstairs.

When I managed to "unstick' the valve and fill the header tank, the taps, toilets etc. started to work, but the water flow from the taps was quite limited.

I think I have an air lock somewhere....How do I get rid of it?

Try starting all over.
Turn off the main water supply letting the water settle in the house.
Open the valves to get air in all the pipes.
Then open the main. This should flush out the system.
