help,main drain is leaking where it goes through cement in basement

hello,
i have a problem with my main drain it is 4 inch cast iron and where it goes through the cement floor it is leaking at that spot,how do i repair this ,do i have to sledge hammer the cement and find the strongest piece of pipe and put a fernco with pvc,how deep is the cast iron piPe? 12 inches under please help.

You will need to break out the concrete enough to find a good piece of pipe, from there you can make this repair with fermco's and a section of pipe.
The depth can vary, but 12" sounds about right.
