We are expainding a bathroom and making it bigger so we can put a shower in it. My ? is that it will only be next to the livingroom. How can we insulate it so that the shower is not heard in the living room. Thanks rodney

The sounds will be hard to keep from being heard, the quietest pipes you can use for drains and water suppy would be cast iron and for the water would be cpvc.

All I can say is insulate the pipe the best you can and pack around the pipes and in the will with as much insulation, this is not a garantee this will bring the sounds to a dead silence.

Best Of Luck
