Unhappy

My tank is slowly loosing water after it has refilled. I've replaced the stopper but that doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

Hi:knifelady

If you already replaced the flapper or ball and the tank still seeps water, you most likely will have to replace the ball/flapper seat.

The surface of these corrode and pitt and even a new flapper or ball will not stop the water loss.

I would suggest you replace all the parts of the tank and correct the problem once and for all.

Good Luck

Make sure the tube that runs fron the fill valve to the overflow tube in the tank is not below the water level in the tank.

This can cause water in the tank to siphon out and make the fill valve turn on out off all the time.
