Cool

I have an outdoor frost free Woodford spigot;the kind that sticks up on a pipe in the yard. I have to shut the water off, to make repairs on the spigot, but I'm not sure of the best way to do this. I'm on a well and the water line goes to a pressure tank.I can't find a shut off valve to the spigot. It looks like the line from the spigot goes directly to the well. I can only find a "main"shut off valve from the pressure tank to the rest of the house. What's the best way to turn off the water? Can I simply turn my pump off at the breaker box and then make the repair? Or should I do somethng else? Thanks.

You will need to shut the power off to the tank if that shut off valve there will not shut the line off.
