Higher pressure on initial turn on of faucet

Recently I have noticed that when I turn on the Kitchen faucet, the water comes out at a higher pressure that before. Eventually, the pressure goes to normal after the water has run for a second or two. Is there a potential problem with this? Does anyone know why this happens?

Thanks.

Could be a valve not turned on all the way or it could be a pressure reducing valve gone bad, Check things out. look at all valves including out at water meter.
