Shower Venting Help

Hello all we are installing a new shower and all plumbing and i want to know how to vent this thing the 2" trap is only 14" away from the 3" main run witch runs to a WC and tees off to a 2" lav the Lav is vented with a 11/2" tieing in to the exesiting house vent the run on the 3" main to the lav vent is around 7' is a sepret vent even needed for the shower with such a short run?

Codes may be different in different locales, but around here we can wet-vent for I think about 6 feet. You should be fine. Wet venting is when the drain and vent are one in the same for a given distance. Your lav vent sounds dry-vented, where it vents upward and then horizontally ties into the main stack.

It sounds like you may be ok. but if you could take some pictures and upload them to a site like photobucket.com and the post the link here, we can be more accurate with our answer.
