smelly sink

My main bathroom sink smells like fish. We have tried to put CLR and bleach down it but it still stinks. We are on a well. Please help Thank you

Is it from the water or comming from the drain, this smell?

Hi:skratz
Just my two cents worth here.
Check the overflow hole in that sink. Possible the smell is coming from it.
Pour in some bleach and then check it the next day. Smell should be gone.
If so, then try to flush out the sludge and slim that usually builds up in those overflow holes. You might also try some CLR cleaner in there also.

The smell is in the drain. The water seems to be fine.

Try too clean out the overflow in the sink, and do as Tom said.
