Exclamation

My water bill doubled this past quarter. I was told to watch the meter and see if there was movement on the dial even when all the water is off. I did this and there is a "triangle" on the dial that does turn, although very slowly, even with the water off. Is there a way I can tell where the leak is coming from?

Cool

if you have a shutoff valve at the house, turn it off and see if the triangle still spins. if it does then the leak is underground between the meter and the home.
if it does not spin then it means the leak is in your home or off of some irragation. check all toilets first for leaks, check under your home if you have a crawl space and if you do have irragation check that. if all fails then you will need a plumber or a leak detection company.
