noisy pipes and now, water!!!

The pipes behind my toilet began making groaning and hammering sounds. Now there is water leaking from the walls! What are the potential causes of this?

You may have a cracked or broken water supply line behind the wall which runs to the toilet.

Toilet runs for 3 seconds every 15 mins?

Hi... One of my toilets in my house has been having a strange problem. About every 15 minutes or so, the toilet will run. Its runs for about 3 seconds and then stops. Again, this happens about every 15 mins throughout the day. If i open the cover, i can hear a dripping sound but i cant see any air bubbles or any leaks. I will follow the FAQ's on a running toilet tonight but does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong? Im a first time homeowner :) Glenn

Underground gas line to swim pool

I am renting a trencher for water and power lines this weekend and would like to also lay gas lines from the house to the swimming pool, about 50 feet of line. I will not hook up the gas till next year but want to lay pipe now. I heard of a plastic grey gas pipe. It sounds much easier to lay in a ditch than steel pipe. I will add a pool gas heater in the future. - Can I use this instead of steel pipe? - Where do I buy it? - How is it priced compared to steel pipe? - How deep to bury it in Missouri? Mark
