We have just installed a ceramic floor in the bathroom. We need an extension for the toilet flange to get the toilet back on. We thought there was only one size (standard). However, we got two extensions, but it does not line up with the screws on the flange that is there. Any suggestions or how do we install these extensions or are there different sizes????

Appreciate your comments.

If the original flange is still there, go to a plumbing supply house and ask for long closet bolts. Then place the bolts in the slots of the original flange and slip the extension flange over the bolts. Some silicone caulk can be placed in between the flanges.
