How do you remove a toothbrush that was flushed down the potty? The snake caught a couple of bristles and at a point at which I know the brush isn't more than 2 ft away.

I purchased a softener and iron filter from Quality Water Systems in March of this year. I have had nothing but problems with the filter and now they are not even returning my calls. I'm at my wit's end. The installed an iron filter using a pleated 5 micron which didn't do the job. Then I put in a solid 1 micron which only last a couple of months. Then they installed a second-hand 'Big Blue' filter with a cartridge that looks like a big thing of yarn. I am still getting staining and tiny little black particles in my sink, tubs, plastic cups, etc. When I told them that the 'Big Blue' they installed a few weeks ago is only resulting in more staining, the guy said he didn't believe me and it couldn't be possible. Now, he's not returning my calls. Could my iron be that super-duper that nothing can help it. Any advice as to how to handle (not)Quality Water and the iron would be greatly appreciated.
