Exclamation

My toilet is running like mad, i have gone to many site and followed all the rules and there seem to be nothing wrong. I have a toilet with a chain and no floaty-ball. Anyway i figured out that there ends up being too much water in the tank so it goes through the over-flow tube and runs into the toilet. It is getting worse and worse. How can i make this stop???

Just install a new fluidmaster, there cheap and easy to install and adjust.

Cool

Sounds like you already have a Fluid Master-type assembly. Look on the side of the float cup. You will see a small rod with a sliding clip on it. Pinch the clip and slide to adjust water level to line indentation on tank for proper adjustment. May solve problem, unless you need a new one. Good Luck!
