shower lever

The lever that activates the shower in a shower-tub combination no longer works. It is located in the tub-fill spixit. Is this a rather simple repair or is there major demolition involved?

All you need to do is replace the fill spout, it either unscrews or there is a allen screw on the bottom side of spout, remove this and put in a new one just like it.
