Studor vent
I have a studor vent on the drain of my kitchen sink. in looking at the Otay web site, I see that the valve should be 6 inches above the trap. My installation is more like 3 inches. Could this be the reason that the vent is not operating properly. If I take the vent out the drain works perfectly. In, the flow is slow.

Do you have another location in your place with a studor vent. If so, try switching them around to see if you have a bad vent. I don't know enough about the 6" requirement to advise you on that but if the manufacturer says 6", then I would extend it to that if possible.
