clogged tub drain

My tub was draining slow, I removed some hair and stuff the removed to two screw and pulled out the plug to try and remove more-- afterwards it became totally stopped. I tried to put a snake down the back but it will not go any further than the stopper. Could it have closed shut?? How can I open?
I have tried drain solution, water pressure, nothing is working.

Chances are there is more of the blockage down the line, beyond the trap. The trap can be hard to get the cable around. If you still can't get cable any farther then you already, then you might want to call for some help.
