I have recently moved into a home which has a sump pump, something I have never encountered before. The pit is always at least 1/2 full of water -is that normal?
Secondly, when the pump starts it's very, very noisy -so much so that it can be heard in every room in the house. It also goes almost non-stop for anything up to 48hrs whenever we have rain. There it goes again... :(
What could be wrong?
my tub faucet has 2 handles,as hard as I try I can't get either of them tight enough to stop dripping.I think I need to replace the o rings but I don't have a clue how to do it myself. Could some one walk me thru the steeps of repairing it
