I have an outside faucet in the ground that is leaking. It seems to be leaking because a root to as shrub grew against it and bent it an over time a hole has worn in it. How do I repair or replace this faucet?

Cool

If I understand you, a hole has been worn in the pipe to the faucet by a root. Just need to repair/replace that piece of pipe.
What type of pipe? PVC white plastic? Galvanized?

Cool

Go to next threaded connection. Get threaded pvc adapters (two), and splice in a Schedule 40 length of pvc pipe: Glue pipe to the two threaded adapters, after you have screwed the adaapters in with 2-3 wraps of teflon tape (clockwise only). PVC glue the pipe into the adapters. Good Luck!
