Excessive water pressure

The water pressure in bathroom sinks seems abnormally forceful. The fixture is the pull-out single knob style (which is somewhat difficult to control anyway) and is just too difficult to regulate to the more moderate flows. Before I consider replacement, I'm wondering if I have alternatives - different washers or some kind of correction in the plumbing itself. I take a bath everytime I turn it on....Water pressure elsewhere in the home is normal. Thanks!

Try a areator that will only allow so much water the pass by, like one that will only allow 2.5 gal per minute. see if that helps you out.
