My toilet, when flushed, has been backing up into my tubs' drain. When there is water in the tub, it will not drain out at once. Usually if I leave the water alone, it will eventually drain out, hours later. I live in Louisiana if that will help!

Bowlerbuff:

I agree that your main drain needs to be cleared, and it's been my experience that the more I hear the jingles of household name drain clearing companies on the radio, the more they want to clear my drain. Frotto Rooter charges more to finance a larger advertising campaign, not because they have better expertise or equipment. They hire plumbers right out of trade school.

It doesn't take to long for a plumber to realize that if he bought his own machine, he could charge you half as much as Frotto Rooter does and still take home twice what he's making on the job working for them. You phone some of the guys with the smallest ads in the yellow pages and you'll be getting someone with twice as much experience clearing your drain for half the cost.
