Rocking Toilet

Would like to know how to fix a rocking toilet. It seems that the floor is slightly warped causing it to rock from side to side. No amount of tightening will stop the rocking. Would appreciate any helpful advice.

Try shimming with plastic shims to sturdy it.
Also you may need to check the flange to see if its connected solidly to the floor.

Actually, a rocking toilet seems pretty therapeutic to me!

Gurgling sink drains

My kitchen and bathroom sink drains make noises after the water goes down - gurgling, popping, etc. The noise is NOT pipe hammer. I live in the upper apartment of an older, two-story home. What can I do to stop the noise?

Leaking Solder spot

I just had to replace both supply lines to my kitchen sink. (1/2" diameter copper pipe). After Doing all of the pipe soldering I turned the water back on to discover that the point where I mated the new copper pipe with the old copper pipe is leaking for both the hot and the cold water. I know you're not supposed to solder when there's water in the pipes, but what should I do know? just try to resolder it? Thanks Jody
