Unhappy

I Have a leaking faucet in the bathroom. Its fairly new house is only 2 years old. I was thinking it was the gasket. Went to remove and stripped the screw(they don't make the screws like they used too.)Please help. How can I remove the screw and fix the leak. The leak is from the hot water side. Its a two knob system. Thank you

You could just break the handle off and replace the handle after you fix the faucet, once you break the handle off, then you should beable to grap the existing screw with a pair of vise grips and remove it.

Or

You could drill the screw out and save the handle, then you would need to replace the stem only.
