NEED TOILET HELP FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#1

I have a toilet that takes too much time to flush; the bowl takes forever to take the water away. I replaced all the parts a few weeks ago, tried a auger and a plunger and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm not a plumber, but if you have replaced all of the parts, and it is still sluggish, it sounds like a partial clog in the drain or the vent stack.
Have you snaked out both of those?

Open the tank lid inside you will see the fill valve, off of the fill valve there should be a tube running to the overfill tube, make sure there is good waterflow while the toilet begins to fill up, this is important that there is for it allows the toilet bowl to fill to it's operating level after each flush.
Things To Look At,
1. Flush ring below rim of toilet, use a dental pick to clear these holes.
2. Blow Hole in bottom of toilet, make sure nothing is restricting it flow.
3. Blueing Cake Tank Drop In's, if there, remove them, one of the major causing for plugged up flush rings.
Test To Preform on Toilets
1. Take a 5gal bucket of water and pour into toilet, does it go out of toilet with no problems.
2. Lift Tank Lid, don't flush toilet but lift the flapper barley to see where the operating level of bowls is suppose to be at after each flush this will be the point where the water in bowl start to go over the top of the trapway, this is a reference point for this test. now flush the toilet several times and see if the bowl refills back to the same level once the fillvalve stops running, if it don't and you already replaced the fill valve make sure that tube is sending water into the overflow tube.

Hello, water from the tank must get to the bowl quickly when you flush the toilet.Take the lid off and flush the toilet. watch the flapper it should almost snap shut at the end of the flush, if it just sort of floats then closes gently the rim holes are blocked up this happens in areas that have hard water. I pour a bucket of water in the bowl to lower the level then I pour about a half a gallon of muratic acid douwn the overflow pipe in the tank let it set for about an hour then flush the toilet.

Where can I get muratic acid?

Plumbing vents account for most of those ugly pipes sticking up from your roof.
Muratic acid is available any place that sells swimming pool supplies.<HR>
I got the auger into the plumbing vent, and viola! The next time I flushed it, the toilet worked beautifully-no clogs, and a fast flush. Thanks to all who contributed to my relief efforts...I really appreciated the help!
