Help, I've got a bad clog. I would like to get at it by opening up a clean out plug, but I'm not sure if its screwed in or just tapped in. The house is about 100 yrs old and the main sewer clean out line for the house just pulls out. Any ideas.

Cool

Most clean out plugs are threaded. Just put a wrench on the square in the middle of the plug, and turn it out counter-clockwise. Good Luck!
