Changing unfinished bathroom into a laundry room

oops just realized how confusing my title was sorry:
Hello! Our house is from 1910 and the previous owners had tried to put in a LARGE Powder room next to the stairs by blocking off the hall that leads to the kitchen from the livingroom.....Its HUGE and has ugly paneling.. There is plumbing already in there for the sink and toilet (they never connected the toilet but I see the plumbing work as the opening to where the toilet should be connected to the floor is closed off.
I would like to make this room smaller and bring my washer and dryer up there instead of using it as a bathroom. How hard would this be and can I drain the washer directly to the plumbing into the floor? How would I establish a drain for the washer?
Thanks kindly

On a scale of 1 to 10, probably a 5 or 6.

Having the plumbing already in that room is a plus.

No way of knowing how difficult it would be since we cannot see it.

How handy are you. Should not be to hard. Drain pipe needs to stand up as higher than the water in washer. If not water will drain out and never fill. If you are planning on putting a front load washer be sure to floor is extra strong or it will vibrate the whole house.
