Bowl level is mysteriously lowering Part 11

Hi... let me explain further. I flush the toilet and it flushes and the bowl is full. slowly it starts to disappear over the next 1/2 hour or so until it reaches a specific level and then it stops.

Hi:Paul

My guess would be the sewage line is restricted someplace far enough down stream to allow not quite one full flush. Then, as the water slowly passes by the restriction in the drain line, the water level in the bowl lowers to it's normal height.

Another possibilty is a restricted roof air vent pipe.

Try flushing the toilet a second or third time as soon as the tank refills and see what happens. If the bowl overflows, it's most likely one or a combination of both of the above mentioned problems.
