Just a trickle from bathroom faucet

I installed a new faucet in our upstairs bathroom and all I get get is a very low flow, a real small stream. Shower is fine toilet flushes fine. Why would there appear to be such low pressure coming from the faucet when the toilet and shower seem OK?

Welcome to the forums! Take off the aerator and clean out the gunk you stirred up by replacing the faucet. Once clean, you should have full flow.

Check this

Unscrew the cap on the end of the spout. Check to see if there is a flow restrictor (looks like a washer). Take that out and see if you get better flow.

Wow, you guys responded quickly to my posting. I will check the aerator when I get home from work tonight. I'll let you know the results.

You Guys Are Awesome

I can't believe it was that simple. I've actually replaced aerators on other faucets and didn't even think about looking at it in this case. Thanks so much. My wife will be pleasantly surprised.
Thanks again,
MJB
