Musty or sewer gas smell in one Bathroom
We just eliminated our septic tanks and hooked up to the city sewer system two weeks ago. We have 3 bathrooms, 2 up and 1 down. Ever since we hooked up to the city sewer we are getting a musty, sewer gas smell from one of the upstairs bathrooms that has a shower.
I don't understand why only one bathroom. Can anyone help solve this problem?

I would think that it is a wax seal problem, unless you have a drain that does not get used very often.
You see, once you are connected to a city sewer line, you can get positive pressures as well as negative pressures in the pipes. If you have a bad wax seal; unused drain, or a crack in a pipe, there could be a positive pressure pushing the smell out from the problem area. On a septic system, it is very rare to have a positive pressure.
You may also have a vent issue which is making it hard for a positive pressure to leave the system.

We had to pull a toilet here at work a short while back and I was amazed at the amount of air coming up the sewer pipe and the force that it was coming out. Never seen it before till then.
