Shower Head Dribble

Shower head dribbles slightly when tub faucet is turned on to fill the tub. I have replaced the shower head and also the tub spout. It doesn't appear the water is completely emptied from the previous shower. What do I do now?

you are experiencng back pressure. it is common of newer installations where they did not follow the manufacturers and used pex pipe from the valve to the tub spout.

for your situation i would check the incoming water pressure to your house using a gauge that goes on the hose faucet. if you have a pressure reducing valve (prv) it or your expansion tank could be bad.
