Single handle Kohler bath faucet leak

I have a single handle Kohler bath faucet. There is a moderate drip coming from the spout. Is there anything I can do short of replacing the handle? The handle is atleast 15 years old and the bathroom could use some upgrades. But economically speaking, a simple repair would fit the budget better.

It most likely is a simple repair, if you can get it apart. Often, components that old are too corroded to get apart. But give it a try, after shutting off the water to the faucet. Spray it with some PB Blaster or similar and let it soak overnight.

you most likely need to install a new cartridge in the valve.
