converting washing machine plumbing to tub
I would like to converted my laundry room into additional space for the master bath. Is it possible to use the plumbing from the washer for water and draining for a clawfooted tub? This is a 2 story house.

Yes! You already have a 1 1/2" or 2" drain, and hot and cold water pipes. Your hardest part will be to reroute the drain under the floor to the bath location. You'll also probably need to rework (or add) the vent.
Supply piping is a bit easier since it can be run in the walls and you don't have to worry about slope and such.
Are you planning on DIY or having someone come in and do it?

WOW! Rerouting the drain may be impossible since the bathroom is upstairs. When you say rework or add vent what are you talking about?
If you can picture -there is already a shower and toliet right next door (wall in between) that I plan to remove and have a clawfooted tub in the old laundry area.
I would like to do the work myself but it's sounding complicated!
thanks for the response
