tee

Hello
The tee in the wall under the kitchen sink is cracked. When I meausure my new pvc how do I get the new section of pieces to fit at the last section?
In other words, can you pull the opposing pieces back enough and to the side so the pipe will slide into the opposing connection.
Hard to explain but you need extra room to allow for the last two pieces to be joined as there is about a 3/4" drop into the connector or shoulder of the tee.
Thank you

Question PVC Plob.

I assume you are talking about a drain line?, if so you will have to get enough play on the vertical to make up the final joint. Trying to glue a joint on angle will not work.

If you can't get enough play the only way you can get you line together is to use a Mission or Fernco coupling.

Mission/ Fernco

I know states vary with code, but is it ok to use the rubber connectors both in the wall and under the sink for drainage?
Thank you

If you use a shielded coupling they should be ok just like a No-Hub band; I don't know any codes that won't allow No-Hub.
