brass compression fitting on cpvc

I was looking for a 3 way valve to attach to cpvc supply line. faucet and dishwasher. The other single valves I am using have a cpvc solvent attachment, easy enough, glue and screw. Ended up at a plumbing supply shop for the three way valve and he gave me a brass valve with a compression fitting. Any issues using that?

If you are talking about a brass compression valve on cpvc the answer is no. Get a cpvc to copper transition fitting and then use your valve.
