Broken Off 1 1/2" Galvanized Pipe
I have a 1 1/2" galvanized pipe that broke off where it screws into a cast iron drain pipe. It is of course because of rust and looks to may be about three threads into the cast iron pipe. I have the wall opened where it's at. This is the drain from the bathroom sink and looked to be original in a 60 year old house.
It didn't really take any effort for it to shear off either. what is the best way to get it removed and the threads cleaned up so I can put a new 1.5" back in. Heat, do they make a EZ out this large?

Welcome to the forums! In picture #4, if you look at the top right, you will see the end of the thread. If you can pry it down with a small screw driver, and grab it with a pair of pliers, you may be able to pull it all out. It it didn't take much to break it, it shouldn't take much to pull out the residue. Let us know if it works or if more info is needed.
