running cold and hot pipes

running cold and hot pipes

are you supposed to run them some distance apart or you can run them one next to the other. i can put insulation but wonder whether it is still best to run them separate so that they dont contaminate the temperature

You should run them far enough apart so there is no chance of heat transfer.
