Sputtering pipes

For some reason my hot water in my bathroom sink when running for awhile will cause the pipes to vibrate and the water to sputter. For some reason it's only in my upstairs bathroom, it's fine when the hot water is running in the kitchen sink....Any ideas?

Can I really only travel 3' with a 2" shower drain?!

I figured I could run further but with 2x8 floor joists it looks like keeping a 1/4" slope/ft. keeps me restricted to 3'. That keeps my 2 3/8" OD pipe from getting into the joists restricted 2" from the edge rule. Does this seem right or am I missing something?:wall:

I have obtained 2 55 gallon plastic barrels that I want to convert to rain barrels. I have read up on the techniques and watch the dyi video. My problem is that I cannot find the water spigot, washers (rubber) and the bolt needed to secure it into place. I have gone to Lowe's, Home Depot, and contacted a plumbing store. Can anyone advise me on where to find (all) the parts? Thanks. Rhonda
